I am typically a medium in most bottoms, but sized up after checking the sizing chart and checking again with measuring tape. If you have muscular thighs, the hem might cause a slight dimpling all around, but nothing that will squeeze [I am almost 5'-nothing with big hips and tree trunk thighs, so this is a common issue across the board with me]. I still gave 5 stars because the quality and comfort are great. Softer than I was expecting, too.
