they fit above the waste and pull my stomach in. they are very stretchy I the right places around the but and thighs. I love the idea they fit so snug to the knees and loose from the knees down. I have worn them out on the town to dinners and various places and enjoy the fit.

Granted, haven't washed yet so will cross fingers that length doesn't shrink too much. They're a little long on me (5'4") so that gives me hope they'll be ok. Control top is nice, a little hot in warm weather, should feel better when the temps drop. I bought 3 pairs and have no plan to return any of them.
