The fabric is cheap and from picture I did not see the mesh sides. Criss crosses make it look a bit cheesy to me and fabric is loose and gathers a bit.

I was excited to receive these pants but when they came, I was disappointed in the quality. The criss cross material on the sides is not attached to the pants. It was all stretched out and did not lay flat against the side of my leg. The material could easily get caught in pretty much anything and rip. I returned the pants. I felt the quality was poor.
