I actually haven't used these yet, but off the bat I was surprised at their weight. I've only ever used much lighter foam blocks. I think the heft will be good in the long run for increased stability. However, I did buy these blocks to take with me for a YTT in Costa Rica. I don't think that I'll want that extra weight in my luggage, but I'll definitely enjoy using them at home.

I have been wanting cork yoga blocks for a while. I finally purchased 2 Everyday Yoga cork blocks and I LOVE them. They are very sturdy and my balance poses are much better. I also love using them when I am just doing shavasana as well.
