The pretty detail on the calf part of the leg was a different material that is not comfortable during hot yoga. It doesnt breathe and just isn't the most comfortable. I wear a size 12/14 in reg clothes and bought the XL. It just barely fit. I'm also 5'8 and they were not to my ankles. All in all not thrilled but for $20 I kept them.
