I’ve wanted to try a yoga rug for a while. I finally gave in and bought one. This would be great for Ashtanga. I had a face-paced Vinyasa practice recently. It was nice being able to flow quickly without that stick-and-drag my feet do on occasion while transitioning between poses. I do a lot of my Yin practices on it, too. Definitely recommend.

It is comfortable and does not bunch. My feet do slide on this mat more than on those made from other materials

I originally bought the "Lavender Fields Hugger Mugger Cotton Yoga Rug" to help with grip for when I get sweaty while doing yoga and Pilates but it didn't really help me with that. Although it didn't help with my grip I did find other uses for it! I fold it and use it to sit on while meditating and I also fold it and put it under my knees during my practices. The colors are beautiful, it's light weight, and easy to carry. It also washes good. I washed it with cold water on the delicate cycle and dried it on the lowest heat my dryer has. The shipping was SUPER SUPER FAST!!!!! I received my order the day after ordering so that was AWESOME!!!!
