I sat on your original ball chair for years in my other studio. I was so excited to see that the backrest had been streamlined into a new sleek design and the ball came in blue that I didn't research it as thoroughly as I should have. Much to my surprise the "backrest" isn't a backrest at all (why it is even there mystifies me) as it is too far away to rest on for a petite person (I am 5'1" tall and 120 lbs), it is useless. While I don't slouch, I like the other original chair with the plastic backrest and will be calling you to take this horribly designed piece back ASAP!

I have had this for two weeks and purchased to help correct alleviate back pain from pregnancy-related posture changes (the farther along I get, the more I was slouching forward). It has certainly helped with that tremendously. I haven't had any issues with the ball deflating thus far. That being said, the frame itself is less sturdy than I expected, and the wheel locks engage far too easily. I have to unlock wheels throughout the day as this happens. I wish it took a bit more than the slightest tap to lock the wheels, and that the frame was more solid.

I love this chair that I got for my home office and am thinking of getting one for work as well. The chair is comfortable and sturdy and relieves the pressure on my lower back. I also appreciate that you can adjust the height of the chair, making it perfect for desks of different heights.
