These were all I expected, soft comfy fit. I wear a athletic size 12-14 and the large fits nicely, the waist is not to snug so there are no bulges and not so loose that they don't stay up. They are amazingly soft and I've washed them several times, inside out according to the label and there has been no pilling!

I may have better luck with plain color because it does look like it is a pair of pajama pants with the pattern they created. If you look for Zumba pants that can go with any music and occasion, go for plain ones as long as you get your size. waist band is slightly thinner than HARD TAIL HAREM pants kind.
