I've wanted a Burgundy-colored Hugger Mugger Deluxe Wool Blanket for a long time, and at last this popped up on YogaOutlet at an excellent price! These blankets are ideal for Restorative Yoga props, and also handy to have in the car during winter. The blanket arrived, a beautiful color, much better than how it looks online, and I washed it in a delicate wash detergent on the soak cycle, and then left it out in the brisk Vermont air to dry. To my great dismay, the blanket had a strong chemical smell to it that wouldn't go away, even after leaving it out in a heavy night dew. I have other Hugger Mugger Deluxe Wool Blankets, and this has never happened before. YogaOutlet's Customer Service was excellent in sending me a return label and offering a refund. I've shipped the blanket back, and wish that there had been an answer as to why it smelled, and why washing and soaking didn't help. I appreciated YogaOutlet's prompt customer service response, and the unfortunate blanket incident won't prevent me from using them again for my Yoga props and supplies.
